Pinot Gris

Pinot Gris Wine Details
Price: $14.00 per bottle

Description: This pale yellow Pinot Gris has aromas of peach, melon, apple, pear, and hints of orange blossom, citrus fruits and spice. The flavors are consistent with the nose with perhaps a bit of honeysuckle and the slightest touch of wood also apparent. This is a medium bodied wine with very clean flavors and nice focus on the fruit. Although it has undergone a complete malo -lactic fermentation, there is still plenty of natural acidity to keep the wine refreshing and should enable it to be partnered well with a variety of foods.

Varietal Definition
Pinot Grigio/Gris:
Pinkish-white variety producing a very crisp white wine. Grown in Oregon, the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, and more and more in California, it shows promise for other cool climates. Also known as Tokay d'Alsace in France, Rulander in Germany, and Pinot Grigio in Italy.
