Belles Soeurs, Shea Vineyard

Belles Soeurs, Shea Vineyard Wine Details
Price:

Description: The non-estate vineyard where we purchase fruit, the 2002 Belles Soeurs Shea is typical of the vintage- powerful, dense, loaded with smoky black cherry fruit, full-bodied, and undoubtedly the largest scaled wine we have yet made from this excellent site owned by Dick Shea. This wine, from yields of 2.02 tons per acre, was aged twelve months in 50% new French casks, moved to tank for two months, and bottled without fining or filtration. Anticipated maturity: 2005-12.
