Description:
Again, the cold, wet summer and fall of 2003 attenuated any hopes of making our standard barrel-fermented, Burgundian-style Chardonnay. I decided rather than attempting such a misguided effort, I would play the hand that nature dealt. The result is a clean, crisp, exciting “spring” Chardonnay that is very reminiscent of a young Chablis.
