Rivertown Red

Rivertown Red Wine Details
Price:

Description: Another gold medal winning Indiana wine, Rivertown Red is a Baco Noir with hints of Oak but without that sometimes "bitter" taste that can sometimes over power a good red wine. Soft and easy on the palate but it still holds well with seasoned foods such as Mexican, Creole, pizza or BBQ.

Varietal Definition
Baco Noir:
BA french-american hybrid grape used to make an intense red wine regarded by some as a good substitute for Cabernet Sauvignon . Capable of aging, its origins trace to the Folle Blanche and a native American strain of grape. Extensively grown in the cool northern regions of N. America.
