Vineyard White Wine Details
Price: $8.95 per bottle

Description: A blend of Traminette & Cayuga, this medium-bodied sweet white has fruit & honey overtones. Very mellow flavor. Similar in style to sweeter German white wines. Silver Medal winner at the 2006 Indy International.

Varietal Definition
Cayuga:
A hybrid cross between the Johannisberg Riesling and Seyval Blanc grapes. Makes a fruity white wine of mild intensity somewhat similar to Aurore. Widely grown in the Finger Lakes region of New York State and other cool regions of North America.
Traminette:
'Traminette' is a late mid-season white wine grape which produces wine with pronounced varietal character likened to one of its parents, 'Gewürztraminer'. 'Traminette' is distinguished by its superior wine quality combined with good productivity, partial resistance to several fungal diseases, and cold hardiness superior to its acclaimed parent, 'Gewürztraminer'.
