Stoney Acres Winery

Stoney Acres Winery, a small boutique winery, was established in 1999 in Alpena, Michigan. The business began by providing beer and wine equipment and ingredients for the home beer and wine maker while the signature wines were being carefully produced from fruit grown by local farms.
In January of 2003 the wines were introduced to the public in the tasting room located within the winery. Beginning with the Silver City Red (Merlot) and Silver City White (Riesling) in the grape variety and the Apple, Blueberry, Strawberry and Raspberry in the fruit varieties the wines were well received.

Directions
From Alpena: Travel north on US-23 to French Rd. (Kur Van's Marathon on the corner) and turn left. Travel to Truckey Rd. (second road on the left - about 2 miles), and turn left. Winery is 0.3 miles on the left.

Apple Wine
Produced from a blend of apples hand picked from Knaebe’s Apple Orchard located in Northeastern Michigan. Available in Dry, Semi-Dry, and Semi-Sweet.

A crisp, refreshing white wine made from Native Catawba graps. Available in Dry and Semi-Dry.

Thunder Bay Red
A pale red wine made from Concord grapes grown and harvested in Michigan. Available in Semi-Dry and Semi-Sweet.
