Huff Estates owned by Frank (Lanny ) Huff offically opened its doors offically on June 12, 2004. It opened with its first commercial vintage 2003 consisting of Chardonnay, Riesling and Gamay. Lanny Huff is presently the only grower of Merlot in the county, planted at the South Bay vineyard with smaller sections that are dedicated to Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay.

Aromas include black cherries, violets and spices, while ripe red berries, black pepper and notes of licorice hint at the palate. Strong tannins and a warming alcohol effect create an excellent wine paired with dark chocolate and a romantic evening by a crackling fire.
