Papagni Vineyards
|
|
The Papagni family tradition of growing grapes for wine making reaches further back in time than any family member can recall. Angelo Papagni's father, Demetrio, and his father before him were grape growers who worked in the vineyards of Bari, Italy, near the Adriatic Coast. From fathers to sons, the art of grape growing has been passed down. The first vintages won immediate international recognition among wine enthusiasts. More than 30 gold, silver, and bronze medals for excellence were earned at taste competitions in the United States and Europe.
