Redhawk Vineyard

Redhawk Vineyard Redhawk vineyard, first planted in 1979, is on a small southeast facing slope perfectly suited for growing richly flavored, spicy Pinot noir, Pinot Gris, and Chardonnay grapes. These grapes, fermented in small lots, and given up to two years aging in French oak barrels, consistently make highly-rated estate wines with a full-flavored intensity not often found in Oregon wines. Best known for the "cultish" Grateful Red, we also produce Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and a Bordeaux-style blend called "Reds Cuvee". Our popular cartoon labels, "Chateau Mootom" and "Great White" have both received "Worst Label Awards" from the prestigious Decanter magazine. Additional cartoon labels, including "Punk Floyd", "Rat Race Red", Donner Party, and "Bigfoot Blend" are available at the winery.
