2003 Reserve Pinot Noir
Beginning with an enticing bouquet of black cherry and violets, fresh berries on the palate and a superb mouthfeel, this is a wonderfully rich wine that will speak to your heart.
|
2004 Cabernet Franc
Once again, our Cabernet Franc is the surprise of the vintage. Many thought that 2004 was too wet to properly ripen this variety, but the result in the bottle says otherwise. Characterized by juicy ripeness, raspberry and blueberry flavours, and a silky mouthfeel, this wine is a worthy successor to the medal-winning 2003 vintage. Try it with some ripe, old cheddar cheese.
|
2004 Merlot
Our 2004 Merlot is a fine example of the variety, with plenty of old-world style. It has enticing fruit flavors of plums and black currants, with chocolate notes lingering on the finish. On the palate, it displays the supple tannins and classic velvety mouthfeel that are so recognizably Merlot. This versatile food wine is a good match with roasted lamb, duck, or BBQ ribs.

2004 Pinot Noir Rosé
At Coyote’s Run, we are truly passionate about Pinot Noir. This refreshing wine was crafted from the fruit of a selective first picking of our Pinot Noir vines, in order to capture the delicate fruit flavours and crisp acidity that makes dry Rosé so enjoyable. Alluring bouquet, cherry-strawberry fruit on the palate…this is great wine for a sunny afternoon on the patio.
|
2004 Reserve Chardonnay
This well-balanced and stylish wine is an impressive example of a classic, full-bodied barrel-fermented Chardonnay. This wine features a bouquet of toffee and crusty bread, a luscious mouthfeel, and rich butternut flavours on the palate. Crisp on the finish, with a hint of cloves and lingering soft oak, this wine is a great match with rich, smoky foods. Try it with spaghetti alla carbonara or smoked cheeses.
|
2004 Riesling
The 2004 season, with its cool rainy summer and warm dry autumn, was a noteworthy year for Riesling. This crisp, structured wine has a lovely bouquet with flint and grapefruit highlights. With more grapefruit and lime on the palate, this dry wine will be a great match with shellfish, savoury pork dishes and heavy cream-based sauces.
|
2004 Unoaked Chardonnay
There is something truly remarkable about the heavy black clay soil of our Chardonnay vineyard. The fruit from these vines shows outstanding richness and intensity of flavour. Our 2004 Unoaked Chardonnay is opulent, complex and shows impressive balance. Great as a stand alone sipper, this wine also matches well with fish, lightly seasoned white meats or a nice Camembert cheese.
