Osprey's Dominion Vineyards

Osprey's Dominion Vineyards Ninety acres of vinifera grapes grow under the watchful eye of the soaring Osprey, our vineyard's namesake located on the north fork of Long Island. Our state-of-the-art winery shows our commitment to fine winemaking. A stop in our comfortable tasting room will certainly make your visit a memorable one. Our tasting room is open seven days a week from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Directions
From Route 27 (Sunrise Hwy): Take Route 27 (Sunrise Hwy) east to exit 61, County Road 51 (Riverhead/ Eastport). After coming off the exit, travel a short distance on the service road and bear right on the cloverleaf (follow sign to Riverhead). Now you are on Rte. 51, East Moriches- Riverhead Road. Travel approx. 9 miles to the end. At the yield, bear right, you will come to a traffic circle. Go halfway around and head east on Route 24 towards Southampton. Take Route 24 to the first traffic light and make a left on Route 105 North. At the first light (Florist/ Garden Center on left) make a right. This is route 25, Main Road. Travel east approx. 16 miles through Jamesport, Laurel, Mattituck and Cutchogue. When you enter Peconic, watch for Osprey's Dominion Vineyards on the left side up the

  CABERNET FRANC

  CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Our Cabernet Sauvignon is blended with a small amount of Merlot & Cabernet Franc to add suppleness and breath to the palate. Aromas & flavors of chocolate, raspberry & black cherry overlay. A smooth and velvety texture.
  FUME BLANC
**GOLD MEDAL WINNER** "Best on Long Island" 2003 East End Food and Wine Awards Intensive canopy management is used to expose the fruit to the sun and sea breezes. Only the finest grape clusters were hand harvested, sorted and whole cluster pressed. The fruit exhibits melon and peach flavors.
  JOHANNISBERG RIESLING
Heavily aromatic, mouth filling and drenches the palate with subtle flavors, among them grapefruit and herbal notes.
  OSPREY'S DOMINION CHARDONNAY
Aromas of pineapple, vanilla and toasted coconut. Refreshing acidity, fullbodied with flavors of apricot, peach and pineapple. An appropriate wine to serve on its own or with almost any seafood.
  OSPREY'S DOMINION MERLOT
Ripe cherry and plum fruit intertwined with wisps of smoke undertones of cedar. Chocolate and herbs, solid structure; tannins are firm yet of a fine texture; long concentrated finish, an appropriate to serve with red meats, hearty vegetable dishes flavored with mediterranean herbs, etc. 'silver medal winner' 2005 ny wine & food classic
  PEACH WINE
Absolutely light and luscious. Add with some citron absolut, fresh peaches, ice and whip it up in a blender. Finish off with some vanilla ice cream. Heavenly! A wonderful cocktail for that summertime party.
  PORT
Full velvety rich warm and round mouthful of sweet plums and spicy cherry flavors. Deep garnet in color, with black cherry fruit and a light spice tone in the nose and on the palate.
  REGINA MARIS CHARDONNAY
This wine exhibits fresh tropical flavors of apple, melon and a hint of pineapple framed by light butter and toasty oak. A delicious crisp chardonnay
  RESERVE CABERNET SAUVIGNON

  RESERVE CHARDONNAY
Very ripe tropical fruit aroma such as pineapple and grapefruit with complex suggestions of green apples, toasted oak and vanilla. Balanced acicity, very full boedied with apricot, peach, pineapple and toasted yeast aromas with a long finish.
  RICHMOND CREEK CHARDONNAY
Aromas of peach and apricot with tropical fruit flavors and a refreshing acidity that tickles the palate. 25% barrel fermented in new American oak.

Ripe cherry and bramble fruit flavors compliment a ripe tannin structure, making this wine supple and inviting. A gracefull balanced wine that pairs well with any red meat or soft, ripe cheese.

  RICHMOND CREEK RED TABLE WINE
A blend of wines from premium red grapes, all grown on our own estate. Aged for 6 months in American barrels. It has aromas of blackberries, spicy cherries, chocolate, light eucalyptus and a hint of sweet oak. Medium bodied with good structure, it has proven to be enormously popular since its introduction
  RICHMOND CREEK RIESLING
Aromas of ripe tropical fruit with floral highlights. Semi-sweet with a light body and refreshing finish. Thirst quenching on a nice sunny day.
  SAUVIGNON BLANC
Heavily aromatic, mouth filling and drenches the palate with subtle flavors, among them grapefruit and herbal notes.
  SPICE WINE
Red wine base with cloves, nutmeg and cinnamin. This wine should be served heated. Great for the holidays, alongside a fireplace or after a day out in the cold...but you don't need snow or winter to enjoy this wine. It can take out the damp chill after a day of boating.
  STRAWBERRY WINE
Our berries are picked fresh for us each spring and then flash frozen and stored until we need them. The flavor is incredibly refreshing. Can be consumed like a spritzer with ginger ale or club soda. Goes well with vanilla ice cream. Can be included in a fruit salad for that extra zing....the possiblities are endless.
