Mutt Lynch Winery Brenda, Chris, Katie and Porter Lynch. And their dog Patch. The California wine business brought them together. A chance meeting over 20 years ago and love at first site. It’s been a wonderful ride ever since. Mutt Lynch Winery was born in 1995 combining their mutual passion for wine and “all things dog.” Their motto is:

Products

Canis Major Cabernet Sauvignon, Perotti Vineyard
Always our “Big Dog” among Canis Major wines - bigger, riper, richer. Brenda doesn’t hold back at all in making this wine. 100% French Oak barrels combine with intense, lush Cabernet fruit. Definitely not for the faint of heart.
  Canis Major Petite Sirah
Petite Sirah is the newest addition to our Canis Major wines. Petite Sirah is often called "pets" by grapegrowers; we like the irony of producing a wine from a grape called "pets"!
  Canis Major Syrah, Unti Vineyard
This wine received a DOUBLE GOLD MEDAL at our Sonoma County Harvest Fair, our “Oscars”. Of all our Canis Major wines, this one has a “wild” side. It’s our Marilyn Monroe wine, seductive and sexy, full and voluptuous.
  Canis Major Zinfandel, Perotti Vineyard
This wine received a GOLD MEDAL at our Sonoma County Harvest Fair, our “Oscars”. Barrel aged in 100% French oak, with classic jammy ripe berry fruit, it’s a great gift for Zin-fanatics.
  Merlot Over and Play Dead
A Merlot Brenda likes to drink. In other words, this is not a wimpy Merlot. Full, rich, ripe fruit with a hint of chocolate – Brenda always opens a bottle when barbequing her butter flied leg of lamb.
  Portrait of a Mutt Zinfandel
The wine that “made” Mutt Lynch Winery and 2005 is one of our best yet, winning a GOLD MEDAL at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. Portrait of a Mutt is the perfect name for our Zinfandel, as it blends a small amount of spiciy Carignane fruit into our jammy Zinfandel. As the label says, “Just because I’m not pedigreed doesn’t mean I’m not a good dog!”
  Unleashed Chardonnay
Nothing fancy here. Our Unleashed is an Unwooded Chardonnay. Fresh, juicy fruit aromas and flavors of peaches, pears and apples, with a creamy and zingy finish. The fruit “jumps out of the glass”… like a dog leaping off of a label! Serving suggestion is Brenda’s favorite - chill it and kill it.
