Tucked into the edge of the majestic Blue Ridge mountains of Shenandoah National Park, Little Washington Winery is at Washington, Virginia, the town George Washington designed in 1749. Little Washington Winery is producing exceptional small-batch artisan wines from orchards & vineyards on the edge of the Blue Ridge mountains as well as some of the most coveted vineyards in the state of Virginia. Every visit is a different experience at Little Washington Winery. In addition to our own wines, we feature Vintner’s Choice flights of the best wines Virginia has to offer. We also have picnic fare and hiking provisions available for purchase onsite. This 25 acre farm backs to Shenandoah National Park, one of VA’s most unique ecosystems. We share our farm with the wildlife that live in the Park. Bird boxes, bat nurseries and wildflower gardens invite insect-eating guests to stay awhile and dine in the vineyards. Bears and deer are discouraged from sharing the harvest but never harmed. Come enjoy the panoramic views of the Blue Ridge with a picnic on our vista deck.
