Once Upon A Time….
In a Forest far-far-away….
There lived an Irishman in a Farmhouse
who loved to teach children.
He fell in love with a Maiden
for her Southern Way.
Together, they said “I do”
and moved to a town
that needed his help & wisdom.
He was a Guardian
for the children & families
of Special Needs and Color….
He brought them everything
they needed under one roof..
They All Lived Happily Ever……..
Until the morning his heartbeat
stopped and his body left…….
yet his Spirit stayed.
His Maiden remained
in the Deep South
to see his new school through
and raise their 2 Daughters
while studying all she could.
The Farmer across the way
brought his Black Angus to graze
while he kept watch for 40 Years….
Until one day ….
his Youngest Daughter
was all grown up and
she came to the Mountain
and pointed ……“There”
…… “We Shall Live Happily Ever After”.

Cabernet Sauvignon
Earthy truffles, tobacco and dark cherry flavors are the background choir for this Bordeaux-style Mountain Man’s wine. Not to be hurried, one prefers a few quiet hours to themselves to fully enjoy the soft tannins, oak and mild spice from the French barrel aging. Finishes smooth.

Estate Cabernet Franc
Estate-grown petite clusters harness the Northern Fauquier terroir of years’ past agriculture and early settlers. Distinguishable flavors of raspberries, tobacco, violet and black pepper ~ a vintage with the personality one would invite to the table with pork tenderloin or a rustic Provencal soup and bread supper. Savor alongside chocolate mousse with raspberry reduction or English bread pudding.
|
Estate Chardonnay
The clusters of Estate-grown champagne colored berries were saturated by Summer floods during their infancy, nearly buried in the Blizzards of ’09 and later thrived during the droughts of record-high temps of late last Summer. Meanwhile, Mother Nature sent Robins to nest and start new life inside the green canopy and heavy trellis. Aged with Oak ~ for emphasis on creamy butter ~ this robust Chardonnay remembers a past and pours the gifts of sunshine, mountain and the winemaker’s care into your glass.

Meritage
A dreamy blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc ~this sophisticated union of reds reveals an easy blend of spice, tannins and oak. A House favorite for celebrations, fine dining and outdoor relaxation! As originally conceived over ten years ago, Meritage is defined as a blend of Merit (among the best wines a winery produces, likely in small volumes) and Heritage (the Bordeaux tradition of blending varieties). Today, there are many imaginative blends on the market.

Merlot
Our Merlot will take you across the dance floor and twist & turn in your mouth like a sultry Salsa number. Peppery firecracker in the roof of your mouth washes down leaving a bright lingering star on your tongue. Well known for the famous screenplay line from “Sideways”, wine-snob, Mile,s proclaimed a refusal to imbibe the peasant’s Merlot! Contrary to his belief~ This Bordeaux style medium-bodied wine accents a sizzling steak or your favorite seasonal pizza such as mozzarella & basil. A great companion by the grill with roasted portabellos, eggplant or squash. The red fruits, spice & vanilla enhance fresh pinapple, cantaloupe and berries. Featured in our Sangria spritzers. Plays well with chocolate!
