Products

  Autumn Rosé
One of the best known semi-sweet native American grape varieties. Fermented with a special yeast, we were able to extract a fresh, flowery and citrus character. Silver medal winner at the PA Dept. of Agriculture.
  Baco Noir
Semi-dry Germanic style red, medium bodied with hints of plum, raspberry and cranberry in the nose and finish. Excellent with Italian food.
  Cayuga
If you like crisp, semi-dry Rhine style white, that has orange blossom nose, with honeydew and apple in the taste, this is your wine.
  Chardonnay
Very smooth dry white, barrel fermented in French and American oak to achieve its rich, toasted-citrus character, with hints of pear and apple in the finish. Somewhat simple but friendly.
  Cherry
  Concord
This anytime red has a refreshing grapey flavor and aroma, but not overly sweet. Very popular. Excellent with fruit and cheese.
  DeChaunac
Dry inky red. aged in French and Slovenian Oak. Very complex with hints of blackberry, tobacco, plum and smoke: layers of flavor with soft, lush tannins.
  Niagara
This old native variety has a fresh grapey flavor and aroma that is excelled when chilled. An excellent summertime drink. Just like the grapes grown in Grandma's backyard.
  Riesling
The famous wine grape of Germany which grows very well in Pennsylvania, produces a fine semi-dry white wine; and is one of the favorites at Calvaresi Winery, fermented slowly in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures, produces an elegant peach nose and lingering spicy pear finish. Limited quantity.
  Steuben Blush
A real favorite, zin-like, spicy and clean, with hints of strawberries and pineapple in the nose and taste. Formerly Widow's Blush.

The Calvaresi fruit wines & Port are sensational...I really love the Cherry Wine but haven't been able to find any bottles of this delicious wine for several years. I am told it is only bottled every couple of years because it is a special limited bottling.

I love this winery! They have something for everyone and their fruit wines are exceptional. While the facility itself is no frills, that is of no matter to me. The staff is great and the wine speaks for itself. If you pop in...make sure to ask about the photo of Emeril Lagase holding a bottle of their famous wine!! Truly charming place.
