  Cabernet Sauvignon
This wine shows deep ruby color as in past vintages. The nose is quite open and expresses black cherry and wild, brambly berry aromas layered with sweet, toasty French oak. The wine is very soft and round in the mouth with a supple, elegant tannin structure. Flavors mirror the aromas with lovely ripe fruit and moderate use of oak for complexity. The overall balance is quite seamless with a satiny, silky finish. This wine showed a lot of charm right off the bottling line. It is a nicely balanced wine with lots of flavor and elegance, easy to enjoy now and over the next ten years or so. Salut!
  La Sirena Santa Ynez Syrah
This Syrah is a dark ruby purple color. The nose is of big plummy fruit, a pure expression of the vineyard with tons of Syrah varietal character. The wine shows layers of aromas and flavors. Nice complexity of fruit with a roasted, warm, savory spice note. In the mouth it is rich and ripe, very smooth across the palate, yet vibrant and lively at the same time. An exciting wine with great length and balance. Salut!
  Moscato Azul
A white wine from La Sirena? Ya, sure, you betcha! This is a dry style Muscat Canelli from a neighboring vineyard here in Calistoga. I've wanted to make a dry Muscat for years and finally found a great fruit source…right next door! It's an unusual wine because most Muscat is made into sweet, dessert wine. Not this time. It's meant to be a delightful, fun white to go with an assortment of tropical, citrusy, or Pacific rim type foods. Even chilled on it's own as a summer sipper, it is a delightful wine. This is the third release of Moscato Azul.
  Napa Valley Syrah
This is our third offering of Napa Valley Syrah. We work with Syrah grapes from both Napa Valley and Santa Ynez and find the fruit to be quite distinct by region. We decided to bottle them separately to show off their regional characteristics. The variety seems to do great in a range of growing regions, soil types, and climates and is a pleasure to work with since I have been a fan of Syrah and Rhone wines for many years.
