Patricia Green Cellars
Patricia Green Cellars is located in Ribbon Ridge, a small viticultural area in Yamhill County. The 52 acre Estate property is at the heart of the winery that produces Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay from some of Oregon's finest vineyard sites. We use a combination of attention to detail in our vineyards, all of which are non-irrigated, practical experience in winemaking and a passion for what we do to create balanced, textured, beautiful, unique and even critically acclaimed wines.

Patricia Green Cellars "Notorious" Pinot noir 03
Patty's selection of the three best barrels from the entire vintage, it's notoriously good. Very limited, and only available as part of the PGC 2003 Vintage Case Sampler.
Patricia Green Cellars Chardonnay 03
Lush fruit and medium-body are the dominant qualities of this wine. There are very nice aromatics of pears, apples, baking spices and dried hay. The wine has the viscous texture that is the hallmark of the vintage but is not heavy in the least. In fact it has just enough weight to carry the flavors through to a spicy, long and satisfying finish that is tinged with a touch of lemony acid that lifts rather than sheers off the fruit. First vintage in two years, Patty declassified the previous two vintages as not good enough.
Patricia Green Cellars Goldschmidt Vineyard 03
The wine is loaded with sweet red cherries, red, earthy spices and iron-like nuances to the long, seamless finish. The fruit is balanced with a supple texture that is buoyed by ultra-fine tannins. Rich, well structured, ageable, layered flavors, very limited and only available as part of the PGC 2003 Vintage Sampler Case.
Patricia Green Cellars Pinot noir "Hirsch" 02
Patty makes wine from California fruit, a big, soft, approachable quaffer.
Patricia Green Cellars Pinot Noir "Oregon" 03
Patty's flagship wine, a wonderful value. Very limited this year. Great depth of color, sweet red cherry aromatics, good richness and depth of mouthfeel and a spicy finish.
Patricia Green Cellars Pinot Noir Balcombe Vineyard 03
Aromatics of cherry liqueur, wet stone, toast, smoke and iron. Intensely concentrated flavors of the flesh of black cherries right at the pit followed by minerals and some sweet oak. Very concentrated and intense. Very very limited this year, only available in the PGC 2003 Vintage Sampler Case.
Patricia Green Cellars Pinot Noir Balcombe Vineyard 03
Supple, hightoned aromatics, sweet cherry fruit, rose petal notes in the nose. Dense and concentrated. Intense, lush, sexy wine with piles of fruit, good structure and, amazingly, almost perfect balance.
Patricia Green Cellars Pinot Noir Bonshaw Vineyard 03
Incredible velvet texture and Japanese plum fruit flavors are the signature characteristics of this wine. Dense, sweet fruit is absolutely carried on sheets of crushed velvet all the way through to a spicy and extremely long finish. Very very limited. Only available to PGC Wine Club members.
Patricia Green Cellars Pinot Noir Eason Vineyard 03
A wine of sweet fruit, earthy spice, gamey notes, and beautiful balance. From a tiny vineyard, don't overlook this little gem. Piercingly sweet fruit, earthen spices and firm but not unyielding structure.
Patricia Green Cellars Pinot Noir Estate "Old Vine" 03
Black cherries, mocha and a lot of minerals and spice characterize this wine. The PGC Estate Vineyard has developed to the point where in some vintages, Patty is dividing off certain blocks with particularly interesting flavor characteristics. Here is the first "Old Vine" release, very limited. Shipping after late November 2004.

Patricia Green Cellars Pinot Noir Estate 03
This is the powerhouse of the 2003 Pinot noirs. This wine, quite simply put, is huge. Gigantic. Large. Those work well as descriptors, too. In a vintage where the lightest wine would be described as dark this particular wine stands out from the long line up. Black with tinges of purple and simply opaque. The wine offers brooding fruits that edge toward plums but enough acidity to reel it back toward black cherries. Coffee, dark chocolate and blackberry extract pile on in the middle of the wine and the wine is forceful with hearty structure.
Patricia Green Cellars Pinot Noir Estate, Etzel Block 03
Sweetness and smokiness from the oak in the nose, this wine has great aromatics of blackberries, raspberries, tar, tobacco and exotic spices. The wine is concentrated and full with tremendous length. Luscious, from a tiny block of grapes adjacent to Beaux Freres' vineyard. Only available in the PGC 2003 Vintage Sampler Case.
Patricia Green Cellars Pinot Noir Four Winds Vineyard 03
Distinctive aroma and flavors of game and forest floor distinguish this wine. Concentrated blackberry and cherry fruits and luxurious texture dominate the flavors. Limited supply of 2003 vintage, and there was no 2004 vintage of this wine.
Patricia Green Cellars Pinot Noir Quail Hill Vineyard 03
Tremendous purity and true to varietal coloration with its gleaming ruby red tones. Flavors are of sweet, plush fruit. 2003 vintage is recommended for cellaring and enjoying 2005-2008. Shipping from late November 2004.
