The Pianetta farming family spans four generations. Their vineyard is located in the southern Monterey County near Paso Robles on the eastern slopes of Indian Valley. Warm days combine with cool central coast nights to produce a premium red wine grape. The views from the vineyard are refreshingly breathtaking and the oak trees among the vineyard add to its aesthetics. John Pianetta Jr. and his daughter, Caitlin, continue this legacy today. We would like to present to you our premium red wines, which include Cabernet Savignon, Syrah, Sangiovese and a blend of Shiraz and Cabernet, for your enjoyment.

Pianetta Estate Bottled Cabernet
The 2004 Pianetta Cabernet is another flavorful wine. Lots of berry and fruit flavor rounded out with rich oak notes. This wine has received a Silver Medal at the 2007 Finger Lakes Wine Competition as well as a Silver Medal at the 2007 Central Coast Wine Competition!

Pianetta Estate Bottled Shiraz-Cabernet
The 2003 Shiraz Cabernet has a fresh flavor which has been suggested as good for people who transition from white to red wines. The blend is 90% Shiraz with 10% Cabernet for a lighter wine with lively fruit taste and spicy flavor. Total Cases Produced: 486 14.5% alcohol

Pianetta Estate Bottled Syrah
This wine is a very flavorful and hearty Syrah. Bold flavors and rich fruit help round out this newly released Syrah. Distinctly different than our 2003 Syrah. It has already received a Silver Medal at the New York Finger Lakes Wine Competition!

Pianetta Estate Bottled Syrah
2003 Pianetta Syrah is the first release of Syrah from the Pianetta Winery. 100% Syrah in this full bodied and flavorful wine. The 2003 Syrah has a deep purple color with earthy fruit flavors and a well rounded taste. Aged dominantly in new French Oak barrels.

Pianetta Sangiovese
The 2004 Sangiovese is a Paso Robles wine. The Sangiovese comes from the Algunas Dias Vineyard known for quality grapes. This is a lighter wine full of smooth flavors. Aged in French and American oak. This wine has received a GOLD MEDAL at the 2007 West Coast Wine Competition as well as a Silver Medal at the 2007 Finger Lakes Wine Competition.
