Le Vin Vineyards’ organic grapes are grown on hillside terraces, 1550 to 1900 feet above sea level, in the prestigious and beautiful Yorkville Highlands appellation of southern-most Mendocino County. Here we grow our gold-medal, prize-winning Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Syrah.
The grapes for our highly sought after Chardonnay are grown in the Russian River Valley of Sonoma County. This Le Vin Chardonnay, with it's tropical fruit flavors of pineapple and banana, and its creamy smooth finish, continues to garner new fans.

Directions
Directions to the LeVin Winery from Hwy. 101 going North: Take Fort Bragg exit, next exit past Citrus Fair Exit in Cloverdale. Take a Left under overpass and go about 1/4 mile to just before the Hamburger Ranch. Take a Right on Hwy 128 going towards Mendocino. Drive about 7 miles or 15 minutes to Mountain House Rd.Stay on Hwy 128 and pass Mountain House Road, but only 1/4 of a mile to mile marker 47.97 and on the right you will see a Green Hwy. sign for Boonville and Yorkville.Then after that you will see a small Le Vin Winery sign, slow down and take the next dirt road to the Right. Open and close green gate, there are 3 horses on this property roaming free. Drive 1 mile up the dirt road slowly, stay on main road past vineyards until you come to a black rought iron gate with grapes. Punch in the # pound sign first and then 1080. gate opens, drive up hill past vineyards to Red Barn. Take a right into the BarnYard. The Barn is the Winery and the Inn is upstairs. Keep driving down to the house from there if Eric is not at the Winery. The Inn is very nice inside, don't let the outside fool you. Enjoy!!!

Le Vin Merlot
The Le Vin 1999 Merlot is bursting with delicious flavors of raspberry, chocolate, and cherries with a smooth flavorful finish. The grapes are from our organically farmed terraced mountain vineyards, (1550 to 1900 feet above sea level). Le Vin Vineyards is located in the incredibly beautifull Yorkville Highlands appellation of Mendocino County, known as one of the most distinguished and beautiful wine growing regions in Northern California. We purchased some grapes for this wine from Jimmy Fetzer's biodynamic farmed vineyards in the McNab Ridge area of Mendocino County. This blending added more complexity to the wine, and aging in French oak barrels rounded out and balanced the flavors in the delicious 1999 Le Vin Vineyards 100% Merlot.
