Coeur de Terre Vineyard

Coeur de Terre Vineyard Coeur de Terre vineyard specializes in only producing estate grown Pinot Noir from our vineyard located in the foothills of the Oregon Coast Range. Our site is made up of gracefully undulating hillsides comprised of a very diverse soil profile encompassing many variations of both sedimentary and volcanic origins. Our site is nestled in a protective valley that allows us just the right amount of heat to allow for a slow and gentle ripening of our fruit while protecting us from harsh coastal winds. These unique factors, along with our dedication to utilizing only organic farming techniques contribute to the unique character expressed in our wines.

Directions
From Portland: Take I-5 South. Exit Hwy 99 S to McMinnville. Follow Hwy 99 through Dundee until you reach the Hwy 18 cutoff labeled "Ocean Beaches". Follow Hwy 18 around McMinnville. After Hwy 18 merges with Hwy 99, go 1 mile and turn right on Masonville Road. Follow Masonville Road for 4 miles until you reach the intersection of Masonville, Eagle Point Road and Muddy Valley Road. Proceed straight on Eagle Point Road for exactly 1 mile and we are on the right hand side. You will see 2 iron gates and our estate vineyard.   Renelle's Block Pinot Noir
The 2003 vintage was extremely warm and this wine is true to the vintage. This wine is characterized by dark berry fruits such as blackberry and dark cherry. One of the signatures of this block is a minerality that transcends vintages and a trademark lingering finish. With the structure and intensity in this wine, we feel that it is quite age worthy and will remain strong through 2015.
