  Cabernet Sauvignon, Mendocino
The 2002 vintage proved a hearty, rich vintage with aromas of blackberry and chocolate. This wine is very compatible with hearty foods. This wine is a blend of the Cabernet from our 29 year old vines and fruit from the warmer climate of Hopland. We took the best of our cool climate and married it with the heartier fruit and came up with a real winner. This wine spent 18 months in 30% new French oak barrels and an additional 6 months in bottle before release.
  Cabernet Sauvignon, Mendocino
Blackberry, Loganberry, and cassis are forward on the palate, followed by mocha and cedar. Vanilla rounds out the full palate experience and is testament the wine spending to two years on french oak. This wine will pair well with steak or lamb. Unfiltered.
  Chardonnay, Sonoma County
Delightful aromas of pear and apple fill the nose. Long legs of glycerin trail the sides of the glass. Tropical flavors of mango, pineapple and lemon grace the palate. This wine was tank fermented to ensure a dry, balanced, lush finish.
  Pinot Noir, Anderson Valley
Aromas of black cherry fruit and hints of cola are followed by the plush flavors of strawberry and cherry jam, with nuances of dried herbs. Bright acidity accented by black cherries create an enticing fruit entry that leads to a broad lingering finish. This full bodied Pinot is a blend of different clones and has spent 20 months on French oak. The oak aging adds hints of vanilla and a smoky finish, rounding out a full palate experience.
  Reserve Syrah
From Ladi’s Award winning vineyard in Sonoma. The robust flavors of black stone fruit, cherries and tea overtake the palate. The finish is layered with smoke and white pepper. We only made 65 barrels of the Reserve. We picked out the best barrels and put them aside for additional aging and then have let this wine sit in the bottle for an additional 12 months prior to release. This one is a real keeper.
  Syrah, Ladi's Vineyard, Sonoma County
This vintage came in fast as the fall heat brought in all the grapes at once. Cherry, raspberry, allspice fill the palate with undertones of charcoal, smoke, and black pepper. This wine is big and pairs well with steak and pork. unfiltered.
  Syrah, Mendocino
Big and Bold this Syrah has concentrated aromas and flavors of blackberry and licorice. Layered with pepper and smoke. A lush wine that pairs well with lamb, steak and ribs. The fruit from Ladi's vineyard never ceases to amaze us with the rich dense colors and flavors. Ladi is just a fantastic grower. We cold soaked this wine for 4 days and then let it sit on the skins after fermentation for an additional 3 days and this just enhanced the color and the textures of this wine. 18 months in mostly 2-3 year old French oak barrels, we did not want to add a lot of oak for fear of masking the great fruit.
  Zinfandel, Mendocino
Lush flavors or raspberry and spicy fruit are layered with chocolate and brown sugar followed by a black pepper finish. Sweet oak rounds out the palate. This wine spent 2 years on american oak. Unfiltered.
