  Apple Pie Moonshine
The original Colonial Court House was built in 1756. During the American Revolution the building offered refuge to the Second Continental Congress while British troops occupied Philadelphia. The most notable fact is that the Articles of Confederation were debated and adopted while the Second Continental Congress was in York Pa. For the 9 months that York City served as our Nation’s capitol, it was home to such notable Americans as Thomas Paine, John Hancock, John Adams, Horatio Gates, Samuel Adams and Phillip Livingston. Many view York as the nation's first capital since it was the Pennsylvania town where this nation's birth took place. This is where the words "The United States of America" were first formally proclaimed. To this inspiring landmark, and the birth of freedom, we raise our glass... Cheers!
