  Barbera California
From Eric and Cindi Olof's beautiful Lake County site, this wine is brimming with fresh berries, spice and perfect acidity - all of which make it an absolutely perfect match with virtually any Italian fare as well as just about everything from the grill - from chicken to ribs to a juicy hamburger.
  Carignane North Coast
This deeply-colored and finely-nuanced wine was crafted from 55-year-old vines in Solano County’s Green Valley. Light, sandy-loam soils combined with warm days and cool nights, thanks to its proximity to Suisun Bay, allow for full development of the flavors and intense pigmentation for which this venerable variety is renowned. Its violet, chocolate and cherry aromas are echoed on the palate, supported on a framework of sturdy tannins and firm acidity which, while encouraging current consumption with roast chicken, turkey or pork, will carry it gracefully through the next three to four years in the bottle.
  Charbono Napa Valley
Winner of the following medals: GOLD-FL State Fair. GOLD-Dallas Morning News. SILVER-SF Chronicle. Earth, sage, dried cranberry and cherry are just a few of the descriptors to be applied to this amazingly complex wine. Just under 90 acres of this virtually unknown grape left in the entire state of CA !!
  Grenache Mendocino County
Our '05 Grenache wine is a pale red color, full in flavor, and have overtones of spice. Grenache pairs well with hearty meals - steak, burgers, and turkey! Drink now.
  'Nettare' Napa Valley
1998 'NETTARE' (means 'nectar' in Italian) a great Super-Tuscan style blend from Napa Valley. A blend of Sangiovese, Charbono, Dolcetto, Syrah and Merlot.
  Petite Sirah Napa Valley
100% Petite Sirah from the Cooke vineyard just south of Calistoga. Vines are 45 years old. Soils are thin and gravelly so yields are generally in the 1-2 tons/acre range. 297 cases produced 15 months in French oak: 17% new barrels. Great color and depth of fruit with excellent acidity. Will make any full-flavored cut of meat sing!! Recently voted "Best Red Wine over $15 at the Reno/Tahoe Wine Festival!
  Sangiovese Napa Valley
The Sangiovese portion of this very attractive wine originated high up on Atlas Peak Rd. overlooking the southern end of the Valley floor. Joe Piccolo's well-tended vineyard is set in rocky, thin soil which is ideally suited for taming the natural vigor of this varietal. The late- ripening Sangiovese is slow to mature, and harvest usually falls in late October. Twelve months of aging in French oak provide support for the pretty fruit, while the addition of small amounts of Merlot, Syrah and Charbono help to round out the wine. With firm natural acidity combined with flavors and aromas of cherry and violet, this wine is a perfect match for a host of pasta dishes or grilled chicken and pork. Enjoy it now through 2007.
  Sauvignon Blanc North Coast
-Double Gold/Best of Class: West Coast Wine Competition -Gold Medal Winner at San Diego National Wine Competition. Chameleon Cellars is changing colors and added our first white wine ever! Its lush fruit and lovely aromatics are totally in keeping with our philosophy that all wine should be redolent of the grape it represents and provide crisp and refreshing acidity of the palate. This variety has long been prized for its ability to enhance a wide of variety of lighter foods, and our 2005 version is no exception. Grapes come from Mendocino, Lake and Sonoma Counties along with 5% Verdelho from Lodi. All stainless for fresh, clean highly aromatic wine with hints of mango and grapefruit will meld beautifully with a lightly grilled or sauteed snapper as well as a rosemary-infused roast chicken, goat cheese ravioli or coconut shrimp.
  Syrah Napa Valley
This marks the third installment of our Napa Valley Syray from the Keig property located a couple of miles north of the city of Napa just off the Silverado Trail. As in previous vintages, the wine is full of rich, ripe black fruit accented with subtle notes of vanilla and violet along with a dash of typical Syrah pepper. The well integrated tannins, moderate alcohol and excellent acidity underlying the deep fruit assure a long life for this very pretty wine. Please enjoy it with roasts, stews, grilled meats or fine cheeses like a Spanish Cabrales or Basque Istara. The 2001 Napa Syrah has recently been presented one of only three gold medals which were awarded in the entire Syrah category of this year's American Wine Society Commercial Wine Competition !!!
  Syrah North Coast
Grapes come from famed Stagecoach Vineyard perched at 1400' elevation on eastside of Valley overlooking Oakville. Thin, volcanic soils make for low yields and very concentrated flavors and aromas of chocolate, coffee and black plum.Perfect for hearty meat dishes like a grilled rib-eye and garlic butter or a special after-dinner cheese platter.
  Syrah North Coast
Our 2002 North Coast Syrah is a fine example of why this varietal has quickly become a favorite of wine drinkers everywhere. Exuberant aromas of cherry and blackberry are echoed seamlessly on the palate by silky layers of berry, currant and smoky spice. Please enjoy this lovely wine with all manner of grilled meats and ripe cheeses.
  Zinfandel Napa Valley
This Zinfandel from the Morgan Ranch in Gordon Valley features a wealth of rich black and red fruit aromas in the nose and on the palate. The flavors of blackberry and raspberry are draped in velvety tannins, while excellent acidity supports the voluptuous mouthfeel. The fully-ripened but not overripe expression of the fruit means that matching this delicious wine with a wide variety of food possibilities is a fairly simple exercise, not an exercise in futility as it might be with a more over-the-top rendition. As such, it is a natural with many grilled meats or fowl as well as dishes with a more piquant twist.
