Milano Vineyards & Winery

Milano Vineyards & Winery The Milano Family Winery is located in an original, old Hop Kiln, near the Russian River just south of the town of Hopland in Southern Mendocino County. Selecting the finest grapes from local vineyards we produce hand crafted, limited bottlings of Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel and Port. Our winery is small enough so that we can pamper each individual barrel. We invite you to visit our tasting room and share these and other rare bottlings from our Cellar. We are happy to tour you through our working winery, please call for an appointment.

  BigAss Red
Sexy, fun and drinks easy! Now hold it there. We are referring to the wine - not necessarily the woman on the label. A Zinfandel blend that's sure to put a smile on your face.
  Mistero
Red Table Wine - Mendocino County. Mistero means "mystery" in Italian - because we make one every year, you never know what will go into it - and it's a mystery how is always comes out tasting so good! This one is a delightful blend of Zinfandel, Carignane, Cabernet and Petite Sirah. This great table wine goes with everything. Nice fruit, a hint of oak with a pleasing body.
  Port
Sanel Valley Vineyards. Organic grown Zinfandel blended with Germain-Robin brandy. Over 3 years in the cellar. Bold fresh fruit flavor with just a subtle sweetness and a nice warm finish. Not syrupy - more like a heavy wine.
  Recall Red
Red Table Wine - Our tribute to the crazy gubernatorial recall election in California. The label says it all - the state of California is filled with a ballot punch card. A clown's face over Sacramento with the universal "no" slash across it says, "We don't want any clowns in Sacramento!" Considered by many to be a collector's item. Then the good news - it's a great table wine that goes with everything. A blend of Cabernet, Merlot, Zinfandel and Petite Sirah. Slight hint of sweetness makes it a hit with everyone.
  Sunshine
tastes like a Gewurztraminer but easier to say! A crisp, sweet wine with grapefruit and pineapple flavors. Perfect for a summer picnic! 2% residual sugar. A blend of French Colombard, Chardonnay and Muscat. Serve ice cold.
