Dumas Station Wines
|
|
Our winery is located at Dumas Station, Northeast of Walla Walla, Washington. Formerly the packing warehouse for the historic Pomona Ranch apple orchard, it was established by James Dumas in 1897. For most of the last century, freight trains hauled the world's best apples from this site. We now continue the legacy with world class wines. Our winemaking approach is intimate and vineyard focused. Hand-picked clusters from our estate vineyard are crushed, fermented and pressed in small lots using traditional methods. The results are big, bold wines with lots of rich fruit balanced with elegant tannins. We are confident you will enjoy these wines for years to come.

Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
Our estate vineyard is in the Walla Walla Valley Appellation, in the southeastern corner of Washington State. All of our fruit is hand-picked and each cluster was carefully selected for this inaugural release of Dumas Station. This Cabernet Sauvignon shows hints of cherry, plum, and currants, with exceptionally subtle tannins and a smooth finish.

Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
Our estate vineyard was one of the few vineyards in the Walla Walla Valley that withstood the harsh weather in January 2004. This rare, single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is produced from hand-picked fruit and each cluster was carefully selected for this bottling.
