ArborBrook Vineyards

ArborBrook Vineyards Thanks for visiting ArborBrook Vineyards. We’re a high-quality grower and producer of fine wines from Oregon, specializing in Pinot Noir. Situated on the southern flank of Yamhill County’s famed Chehalem Mountain Range near Newberg, Oregon, we’re in good company. Several of the region’s best vineyards and wineries surround us. Owners Dave and Mary Hansen planted their first premier block of ArborBrook Vineyards with Dijon clone 777 vines in 2001. Spring 2006 saw the completion of planting of the second block of premium Pinot Noir - containing Dijon clone 115 plus Pommard and Mt. Eden, two Old World clones. We completed our second crush in October 2005. It included Pinot Noir from our Estate vineyard, Pinot Gris from the 20-year old ANA Vineyard in the Dundee Hills, and a late-harvest Semillion from the Klipsun Vineyard in eastern Washington's Red Mountain AVA. The Semillion is being made in the Sauternes style and will not be released until 2007. Our high-caliber viticulture and winemaking team has again produced three fine wines that are each wonderful expressions of their respective terroirs. All of ArborBrook's wines are vineyard designated. Our fruit is carefully handled in the vineyard to ensure we produce the very best wines. We have an unwavering commitment to quality and trust you will enjoy all of our wines.

Pinot Gris Dundee Hills ANA Vineyard
A slow and cool growing season allowed the 2005 Vintage to develop into a beautiful and rich wine, characterized again by low yields and high quality in these 20-year-old vines. Harvested three weeks later than in 2004, this Vintage was crafted in the traditional Alsatian style with beautiful citrus and apricot notes and a gentle vanilla finish imparted from the French Oak sur-lies aging of the wine.
  Pinot Noir Estate 777 Block
The 2004 Vintage was marked by challenging farming conditions with an unusually warm spring and summer ending with an early harvest. Hang time was modest, producing a classic wine that displays the subtle nuances of a fine Oregon Pinot Noir. This wine initially displays black cherry and berry notes followed by a full and complex anise finish.
