Rancho Roble Vineyards

Mark and Therese Adams have deep roots in vine growing and wine making and they have planted these roots in Western Placer County. The vineyards “Syrah Noir” planted in 1999 and “Barbera” planted in 2000 are producing luscious fruit. The Adams selected the Barbera grape because of its rich history in the area. The Italian Barbera was originally introduced to Placer County by the 49’ers during the 19th century Gold Rush. This varietal is also particularly well suited to the soils and oak savannah micro-climate of the Placer County Sierra Foothills where Rancho Roble Vineyards and Winery are located. Rancho Roble Vineyards is a family winery. Mark Adams manages the winery and the vineyards. Under Mark’s care this boutique winery produces one of California’s hidden treasures, our Estate Bottled Barbera. The limited production of our wines gives us the ability to take the greatest care in producing what we consider to be California heritage wines.

|
Terra Cotta Red - Cabernet Sauvignon
This Cabernet Sauvignon has oak highlights and soft touches of berry and spice. The wine would pare nicely with steak and anything smoked or off the grill.
|
Terra Cotta White - Chardonnay
Delightful light and crisp Chardonnay with oak highlights and hints of pear and citrus.
