Our three vineyards are in northern San Luis Obispo County and highlight three very distinct geographical regions. We are committed to showcasing these viticultural extremes under the Derby Wine Estates label. Our vineyards will forever be intimately connected.

‘Mosaic’ Rosé
Dark in color and full-bodied for a rosé, this wine is enormously concentrated with bright, juicy flavors of fresh raspberries and cherries. Turns increasingly complex in the mouth, showing layers of vanilla and spice. Fun on its own, or with baked ham, cured salmon or even turkey.

Cabernet Sauvignon
Smooth and polished. An elegant style with layers of black cherry, cassis, mocha, herbs and cedary oak. Turns supple on the midpalate and then firms up on the end, where the flavors linger.

Chardonnay
Fresh, tangy pineapple, granny smith apples and melon fruit. This wine is complex, intense, lively and very refreshing. The finish is framed by toasted oak and vanilla.

FIFTEEN 10
Opens with fleshy white peaches and lemon crème brûlée which turn dry and acidically crisp in the mouth. Notes of apricot jam, orange blossom, gingerbread and star anise flavors in the background.

Legacy RED
An interesting blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot & Syrah that presents expressive, complex flavors of red and black currants, spiced red plums, crushed pepper and hints of dark chocolate and anise. The tannic structure is firm yet refined.

MOCAB
This dynamic wine offers beautiful aromas of vanilla, earth, black tea, and cherries jubilee. The wine is more elegant on the palate with a velvety texture, layers of spicy red fruits, great depth and balance. 60% Mourvèdre, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon

Pinot Gris
Effusively fragrant with hints of grapefruit & honeysuckle which give way to fleshy apricot and lemon-lime flavors. Ripe and tasty with beautiful acidity.

Pinot Noir
Young, fresh and vibrant, with wild cherry & earthy rhubarb fruit that’s beautifully focused. Complex, with a mix of hazelnut, sage and crimini mushrooms that are supported by firm tannins. Ends with a long, sleek, polished finish. Gains richness and complexity with every sip.

Zinfandel
A claret style of this popular variety which offers sweet and sour cherry, cracked pepper and fresh sage. Perfect with pot roast, barbeque and rich, hard cheeses. 83% Zinfandel, 17% Petite Sirah
