The 2001 Aldine Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep ruby-purple color and a concentration of spicy currant, herbal, dusty and chocolate aromas, along with a nice thread of spicy, toasty oak. On the palate, this is a big, full Cabernet with lots of elegance. Concentrated flavors of currants, berries, chocolate, spice and dusty pepper blend well with the toasty oak, great structure and balance all the way through the long, full finish. Hand selected from the Aldine Vineyard, the fruit for this Cabernet Sauvignon was grown in the Talmadge Bench area in Mendocino County.

The wine has a deep ruby-purple color with vibrant currant, blackberry and spicy cherry aromas, along with some nice peppery notes. Deep and concentrated currant, blackberry and spicy cherry flavors are complemented by great structure, balanced acidity and very long, full finish. This wine was made for hearty meats, complex pasta dishes or by itself with some well-aged cheeses. The fruit for this Sangiovese was grown in the Mendocino County appellation and hand selected from the Gabrielli and Aldine vineyards.

Mendocino County's Gabrielli Vineyard produced our 2001 Sangiovese. It is perfectly matched for hearty meat dishes. Its deep ruby color and spicy cherry and blackberry aromas make for beautiful preface to the intense yet balanced palate.
