Apples represent the world-renowned fruit symbolic to our state. Made from 100% Washington State apples, we selected our juice from the finest varieties to offer you an aromatic, flavorful, and balanced wine. Enjoy this crisp, semi-sweet wine by itself or with pork, sausage, spicy cuisine, muffins, pastries, or smoked cheddar.
A cool autumn in the North Central Washington region allowed our Chardonnay to slowly finish ripening, resulting in crisp, rich, fruit flavors. French oak contributed spice and toastiness in the finish. Mouth feel is smooth and creamy.
Our Merlot is from the Stone Tree Vineyard in the prestigious Wahluke Slope Appellation near Mattawa. Our two-clone blend had smaller berries which intensified the flavors in the wine. One clone tasted of blueberry and the other of cherry. Barrel aged with French oak resulted in complex flavors including cherry, blackberry, anise, black pepper and spice. Soft tannins and a fruit butter finish. An unusual Merlot as it is 100% Merlot.
  Pinnacle Rosé
A limited, exciting creation is a barrel fermented White Merlot from the Stone Tree Vineyard (Wahluke Slope) grapes we call "Pinnacle Rosé". This is a crisp, dry wine with a bright fruit aroma, salmon pink color, and strawberry/ raspberry jam flavors. Barrel aging gave this wine a cinnamon flavor and soft finish. It should go well with salads and lightly seasoned cuisine. As of April 3, there remains 147 bottles.
Washington has been known for years for its fine Rieslings ranging from dry to late-harvest. To honor this long tradition, we have launched our winery with this wine described as fruity with peach, apple, and floral flavors, and not too sweet. Visitors have expressed that the wine is perfect for drinking by itself or with spicy foods, seafood, and Cougar Cheese.
