  BLACKBERRY WINE
The South and blackberries are synonymous, particularly when it comes to Blackberry Cobbler and Blackberry Wine. A wonderful dessert in itself, but try using this wine in your favorite pound-cake recipe (on our web site)or as a parfait topping. The juice is extracted using a"hot press" method to retain the natural flavor.
  Blush
  Catawba
  Chancellor
  CHARDONNAY
Our Chardonnay grapes are imported from Washington State to maintain the integrity of this famous varital. It is processed with precise oak aging. We believe you will truly enjoy our brand of this fine wine. Serve it with anything, it is that complimentary.
  CHATELAINE
Named after the mistress of Long Hollow Chateau, Chatelaine is a semi-sweet, highly fragrant and fruity wine. A nice wine for summer time, and a compliment to light white meat entrees, or as a sipping wine.
  Concord
  HUSH
A very unique blush wine, very fruity with a fresh bouquet that reminds you of a morning stroll through the vineyard. A Long Hollow Winery Specialty. Great for sipping with chocolate!
  Merlot
Truly a classic wine the world over. Unfortunately this is not a local grape. The growing of Merlot grapes is still being studied in the Tennessee area. In the meantime, we import this grape from the Napa Valley of California, thus the world renowned flavor of one of Napa's best comes home to Tennessee for fermenting resulting in an excellent viniferous wine.
  MUSCADINE
Created in keeping with southern tradition, this sweet white wine is full of taste. Southerners are familiar with this homegrown favorite. Serve chilled as an apertif or sitting out on the front porch just sipping.
  PLANTATION
An authentic recipe from an old plantation of West Tennessee. It was given to me by a sharecropper before the plantation went to automation in the middle 1960's. Definitely a favorite medium sweet red wine. A Long Hollow Winery favorite!
  Riesling
Riesling is the grape most associated with Germany. The Benedictine Monks discovered the Riesling grape near Bingen on the Rhine River in 1775. Thomas Jefferson brought the grape to America and it is compatible with our native Tennessee producing a very fine wine.
  SCARLET
A medium to sweet red wine based on a French Hybrid grape. A fresh and bright fruit wine, it has a touch of zest. After all, Scarlet's namesake was the mistress of Tara in "Gone With The Wind". A nice sipping or dessert wine, and an excellent compliment to dinner for those who prefer a sweeter wine. 505
  SHACKLE ISLAND
A dry red wine made from a local recipe. A French hybrid blend, staple table wine in Europe especially used as a table wine for red meats and pastas. A taste of the mystique that comes from the intrigue of it's name, "Shackle Island".
  SIGNATURE
A dry, light and delicate white wine especially complimentary to hors d'oeuvres and the white-meat entree. It's base is the Vidal varital. An excellent choice for the white wine connoisseur.
