Grove Street Winery

Grove Street Winery Grove Street Winery was established in 1988 in the historic Sonoma County town of Healdsburg, California. We have been producing highly acclaimed wines from the heart of this world-renowned region ever since. Grove Street Winery was purchased by Peter T. Paul in 1999 with a vision to offer the best wines from Sonoma County for less than twenty dollars a bottle. By using the finest grapes available from growing appellations surrounding Healdsburg, Grove Street has garnered accolades and gold medals from some of the nation's most prestigious wine competitions. Today, Grove Street remains one of the few 100% family-owned wineries in California with a streamlined product line focused on production of premium wines from Sonoma County. We also produce a few cases of super premium wines from Napa under the Peter Paul label. Grove Street and Peter Paul are often seen supporting charitable events and causes in many areas of the United States. We are particularly supportive of Northern California charities, and are pleased to be a part of so many diverse communities.

This well-balanced, yet delicate Cabernet Sauvignon shows the true characteristics of the renowned appellation of Alexander Valley. This wine has fine oak flavors accompanied with feminine, fine-boned undertones, and cherry a finish.
  Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
This Grove Street Cabernet Sauvignon was produced from fruit grown in the Northeast region of Alexander Valley. The vineyard's high elevation and volcanic soil created highly concentrated fruit used to make this 2000 vintage wonderfully rich and elegant. Barrel aging in French oak adds a soft vanilla nuance which enhances the slightly spicy undertones. This gorgeous wine can be enjoyed now and for many years.
  Grove Street Mendocino County Chardonnay
Approximately 70% of the juice was tank fermented without malolactic acid. Another 25% was fermented without malolactic acid in oval wood fermenters and 5% was fermented in equal amounts of American and Russian oak barrels. An Australian cooper, Southern Cross, produced the American oak barrels and a French Cooper produced the Russian oak barrels. Russian Oak is the same species as French Oak. The barrel-fermented wine went through malolactic fermentation and was stirred weekly on the lees.
Grove Street Napa Carneros Pinot Noir
fter months in French barrels, our Carneros Pinot Noir is a textural delight. The wine is smooth, rich and harmonious with layers of black cherry, spice and a subtle hint of smoky, toasty oak.
  Lake County Sauvignon Blanc
This wine was produced in a clean style, fermenting in stainless steel, with no wood influences. Characteristics of pineapple, banana, and pear aromas. With fresh acidity and liveliness in the mouth, the crisp fruit flavors are a lovely complement to fresh spicy foods. Grapes were sourced from two separate vineyards, one at moderate altitude (1,800 feet msl), the other at 1,200 feet, both located just slightly off the northwest shoulder of Konocti Mtn. in Lake County. 2004 was an excellent growing year, and some of the heat spikes near harvest were inconsequential due to the afternoon breezes the vineyard receives off of Clear Lake.
  Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
The fruit used in this blend was acquired from several prestigious estates in the Napa Valley. Fresh berry fruit including cherry, raspberry, and boysenberry are well supported with a medium structure and clean finish. This wine was barrel aged in French oak for 20 months.
  Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
The grapes for this classic Napa Valley Cabernet come from three to Napa estates on the Oakville, Rutherford, and Yountville "benches". This wine was aged in French oak barrels. The Barrel aging imparts a slight note of vanilla which enhances the jammy flavors of blackberry and cassis. This wine can be enjoyed now or aged for many years.
  Napa Valley Merlot

Here, well-drained, loose soil allows for the clear flavor development of the fruit. This wine has a pleasant surge of ripe currant and cherry flavors that push through. Finishes with supple tannins and a touch of anise and sage. A lush balance of rich fruit, plenty of tannin and fine acidity.
  Sonoma County Chardonnay
This tropical and bright chardonnay was produced from grapes primarily from the Russian River Valley, and hand-blended by the winemaker with chardonnay from the Carneros and Sonoma Coast appellations.
