At a mere 1000 cases, we are devoted to small, individual lots of wine from our Estate vineyard. Most of our grapes are sold to elite Napa Valley wineries and are greatly appreciated for their depth of character and ample texture. Our own wines are aimed at balance with food and an appreciation for complexity and development far beyond the release date. A visit to our vineyard and winery is a treat with expansive views, delicious wines and personal attention from the winemaker.

Farella-Park Vineyards is located in the quiet, southeastern corner of the Napa Valley just 4 miles from downtown Napa. We are located half-way between Coombsville and Hagen Roads at 2222 Third Avenue.

Farella Alta
With great excitement we announcing our new estate blend, Alta. It's been long in coming, 17 vintages to be exact, but the 2001 Farella Alta is a blend of the best barrels in our cellar, 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot. The effort was to create a very stylish wine that would be impressive yet still harmonize with the meal. The aromatics are a complex array of strawberry, blueberry, chocolate and hints of cedar and olive. The flavors form a round, smooth arc of berry fruit, chocolate, toasty oak, and light spice and a rich, long finish.

Farella-Park Cabernet Sauvignon
New vineyard management practices began in 2001 really enhanced the flavor and balance profile of our Cabernet. Without affecting its affinity with food with layers of complexity with the tongue, along with our classic black olive and dark chocolate characteristics. Very rich with fine tannins and a long, smooth finish.

Farella-Park Merlot
Try this wine with hearty fare and you will see why Merlots have been popular for centuries. Rich, smooth and opulent blueberry/cassis aromas and flavors with a complex, spicy backbone are the hallmarks of our Merlot. The 2001 is fully developed and a real treat.

Farella-Park Sauvignon Blanc
Fresh, lively, crisp and refreshing, our Sauvignon Blanc is produced without oak aging in the tradition of delicious Italian white wines. Aromas and flavors of melon, citrus and light mineral notes.
