At Fenton Herriott Vineyards we have long held a great passion for wine, and it is for this reason that we chose to plant our vines amidst the steady sun and rich soil of Placerville, California. And while we are still a relatively new winery, we believe that our sincere appreciation for the noble grape is reflected in the complex yet infinitely drinkable wines that we create.

Barbera
A smooth, fresh medium-bodied red varietal. Enjoy flavors of red cherry, kiwi, key lime pie with a violet aroma.

Cabernet Sauvignon
Well-balanced with a delicate aroma and a velvety mid-palate with a clean finish. Enjoy sweet flavors of candy, cherry, black currant with a hint of spice in this medium-bodied red.

Chardonnay
An exceptionally well-balanced, medium-bodied white varietal. A distinctive grapefruit-green plum nose leading into creamy pear sweetness with toasted French oak and vanilla accents with a pleasant crisp finish.

Estate Syrah
Our first estate wine, this full-bodied red varietal has a very rich palate with flavors of exotic spices, blueberry, vanilla, and plum followed by a crisp, clean finish.

Merlot
A medium bodied red varietal with fruity flavors including black cherry and strawberry with vanilla accents and a crisp, clean finish.

Reserve Syrah
A full-bodied, well balanced red with rich tannins and flavors of blackberry and plum with hints of vanilla, black cherry, and spice with a lingering finish.

Rose Syrah
A light-bodied Syrah, crafted Rose style. The fruity nose leads to an array of tastes, including strawberry, raspberry, anise, mint, and a touch of kiwi. The finish is crisp and clean.

Sangiovese (El Dorado)
A sensual wine complete with flavors of black cherry, toasty vanilla, boysenberry, dark chocolate with a touch of spiciness.

Sangiovese (Fair Play)
A soft, inviting, light Italian red varietal. Very rich with flavors of red cherry, red apple, strawberry, raspberry and vanilla.
