A complex Old World, barrel-aged first release. Our Barbera is a rustic wine with plenty of zesty acid to balance intense flavours of black cherry, mint and cedar. The grapes are from the 60-year-old Sozzoni Ranch near Ukiah, in the foothills of the Coastal Mountains. This region is similar to the Piedmont Hills of Northern Italy where the Barbera grape originates. Harvested in October 2001. Cellared in French oak barrels for 18 months.

Warm lingering autumn days in 2002 allowed a small block of Graziano Vineyard’s Redwood Valley Zinfandel grapes to ripen to maximum sweetness. Light and delicate, this Pinot Noir is a harmonious symphony of strawberries, mint and pomegranate. The fruit is a blend of Uncle Bob’s 27 year old dry farmed vineyard and 10 year old vines from Frey’s Potter Valley Vineyard. Harvested in Sept. 2005 and aged on French Oak. Complements fish, fowl, and fruit salads.
