McLaughlin Vineyards

McLaughlin Vineyards McLaughlin Vineyards is a year-round farm dedicated to the production of quality wines and maple syrup in a natural environment. Located in Southern Connecticut, the 160 acre historic operation includes 15 acres of vineyards, a 2500 case winery, hiking trails, wine education seminars, a sugar house, sugar maple trees, and even a 50 acre wildlife and bald eagle sanctuary.

Directions
From Danbury: I-84 East to Exit 10. Take a right at the end of the ramp. Go through a traffic light and take first left onto Walnut Tree Hill. Follow Walnut Tree Hill for approx. 2 miles until you come to a grass island. Bear left onto Albert’s Hill Road. Entrance is 100 yards on right. Follow long gravel entrance to the winery. From Hartford: I-84 West to Exit 10. Take a left at the end of the ramp. Take next left onto Walnut Tree Hill. Follow for approx. 2 miles until you come to a grass island. Bear left onto Albert’s Hill Road. Entrance is 100 yards on the right. Follow long gravel entrance to the winery.

  Chardonnay
our version is classic: barrel-fermented, 100% malolactic fermentation, American oak aged, medium-bodied, and dry.
  Coyote Blue
our most popular white wine is semi-sweet, refreshing, and clean. It is bottled in the striking cobalt blue bottle. Made from estate-grown grapes this wine is sure to please those who prefer fruity wines.
  Farmer's Daughter
a semi-dry white made from Vidal Blanc, a highly prized varietal in the Northeast. Our newest wine, it is sure to become popular.
  Merlot
our most popular red is smooth, elegant, and dry.
  Riesling
Our version of this classic white grown widely in Germany and Alsace, France is lightly sweet with hints of apricots and pears on the nose and palate. A wonderful companion to Asian foods or with fruit & cheese.
  Vista Muse
a clean, dry blend of Chardonnay and the most widely grown white-grape in the Northeast, Seyval Blanc. 50% of each varietal yields a wine that pairs wonderfully with seafood and chicken.
  Vista Reposa
a very nice dry and fruity wine made from Connecticut-grown Cabernet Franc. Barrel aged in American oak gives the wine structure but remaining well-balanced. 0
