East Valley Vineyard East Valley Vineyard is a small boutique winery specializing in small lot production of red wines. Our goal is to make complex wines that express the uniqueness of the Santa Ynez Valley and Edna Valley regions of the California Central Coast area.

Our Chardonnay fruit is grown at the Hamilton family vineyard which is located at the mouth of Jalama Valley in Santa Barbara County. This is a very cool area for Chardonnay. This area is almost too cool, hang time to the extreme. Fruit was left hanging into November until fruit came into balance. This small family owned vineyard is farmed by the Hamilton and Dascomb families in addition to many committed friends.
  Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
Black current coupled with hints of cedar, dark cherry, slightly smoky, long finish. Dark color, full bodied with medium tannins and a long smooth finish.

Black current, violets, dark fruits, cherry, medium to heavy body, young soft tannins, complex with a long finish.
"What is the best wine that East Valley Vineyard can create?" was asked; and the seed was planted. The first step was to leave behind any pre-notions of remaining "true" to varietal characteristics, but pay attention to what tastes best. Next, we gathered barrel samples of all of our 2003 premium wines. After careful measuring, blending and tasting, Fusionnay was created -- a unique blend of Syrah, Merlot, Sangiovese, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
  Pinot Noir
Our hand made Pinot Noir is very delicate, clean, and well balanced. Fruit and floral flavors are apparent all the way through to the finish. Look for strawberry, plum, and rose petals, accented with spice. The tannins are youthful, ample and enhanced by the hints of sweet fruit found on the middle palate.
  Red Table Wine
Easy to enjoy and drink, this Bordeaux style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Cabernet Franc (20%) and Merlot (20%) encompass our Red Table wine. The fruit was sourced from Stolpman Vineyard and Buttonwood Farms in Santa Ynez. The upper region of Santa Ynez Valley has warmer days than other parts of the Valley which produce exceptional quality fruit.
have been intrigued with Sangiovese for quite some time and finally had the chance to produce five barrels in 2003. I have made some incredible wines in trials and this vineyard and vintage was no different. My hat is off to this grape for making this a world class wine.
Syrah, a Rhone variety, is well suited to our Central California climate. The cool ocean breeze and moderate climate produces a lively and complex Syrah of intense flavor and aroma. Our 2002 Syrah is no exception showcasing exceptional flavors of blackberry, deep cherry, spice and hints of plum--what you would expect in a Northern Rhone style Syrah. Other aromas that you’ll find are pepper, smoke, sage, and hints of chocolate. The finish is long -- it is a robust wine yet delicate enough to accompany most foods.
This wonderful wine goes well with cheese and fruit appetizers, red meat dishes, especially lamb, beef, barbecued or sausage as well as wild game.
  Vintage Port
This vintage style port was made using our best grapes and the depth and richness of flavors reflect this. We fortified the must with neutral spirits, followed by three days of maceration time and then gently basket pressed. Aged for two years in French Oak barrels. This port should age in the bottle for 20 years, we can’t wait that long so we are drinking it now.
