Long Creek Winery
Long Creek Winery is a boutique winery encompassing thirty acres neatly tucked away in the Sierra Foothills within a stone's throw of massive Lake Oroville, seventy miles north of Sacramento, California. The vineyards and winery are uniquely situated on the western side of the Sierra mountain range where the four seasons are relatively mild. The vineyards enjoy a micro-climate that is comparable to some of the hillside country of central and northern Italy. The winery's close proximity to Lake Oroville with its 177 mile shoreline and 15,000 surface acres of water tempers the long hot days in the summer with gentle evening breezes giving the grapes a long growing season maximizing sugar and tannin development. Within this unique micro-climate the grapes enjoy the right combination of soil, sun, wind and water (the French call it "terroir").

Barbera
One of the world's most grown grapes but in limited quantities in California. Our Barbera resembles those produced in Italy. It has a high natural acid level and has an enjoyable, somewhat earthy taste. This wine is best enjoyed young and is easily drinkable.
Cabernet Sauvignon
This wine is still the king of California reds. It is deep and fruity, full of flavor, dark and robust. It has a hint of both blackberry and raspberry, with a slight hint of oak. The tannins are light and it has a wonderfully smooth finish.
Chardonnay
Crafted from grapes secured from the Valley of the Moon in Sonoma. We blend this wine with 10% Muscat of Alexandria grapes grown in our vineyard This blend yields a most enjoyable fruity wine with unique aromas and flavors. It is oak barrel fermented and aged for a very short time and yields a buttery, yet acidic long-lasting finish.
Collage
This wine is an artistic and delightful blend of three varietals: Oroville estate grown Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot grapes that come from Alexander Valley. It is fruity, smooth with very soft tannins. The finish has long lasting flavors of plum and blackberry. Excellent as a sipping wine or pairs well with Pizza, Pasta and meat dishes such as Pork, Beef & Lamb.
Merlot
These grapes come from Chalk Hill region of Sonoma County. This Merlot is rich in character and has been influenced by the steep hillsides and volcanic soils in which the grapes were grown. Long Creek winemaker ages these grapes in French Oak for 2 years. This is full bodied with nicely balanced tannins and just calls out for a juicy steak!
Moscato
We produce this wine in very limited quantities. It is made from our Muscat of Alexandria grapes and is called Moscato Dolce by the Italians. It is sweet and generally a dessert wine, but some drink it as a dry wine since it is not fortified. Our Moscato is low in alcohol, not blended with any other varietal and is deliciously smooth.
Port Syrah
Our Port Syrah is a fortified dessert wine aged in French Oak for 2 years, this wine exhibits intense fruit flavors with an elegant, rich and smooth finish. This is a perfect match with anything chocolate. We take pride in offering you this wine from our limited collection.
