Autumn Creek Vineyards

The century old farm was purchased in 2000. One hundred years ago the primary usage of the farm was hay, cattle, and tobacco. Our goal was to preserve the natural landscape and continue to produce crops from the fertile soils. After two years of extensive research we concluded that grapes would be a suitable crop for our geographic location and lush soils. Our love of good wines only confirmed that wine grapes should be the crop for our farm. We enrolled in several viticulture classes to expand our knowledge of grape growing. Our first planting was April 24, 2001 with the hope of many years of bountiful harvest and great wines!
