We are a new distillery in Madison, NC (near Greensboro) and our products are now being distributed in NC. All of our products are hand-crafted, hand-bottled and hand-labeled in house!
Our bourbon whiskey, Jordan’s Cabin, is stored in new American Oak barrels with an inclusion of French Oak. Jordan’s Cabin mash bill consists of corn, white winter wheat, barley and a hint of rye for the die-hard bourbon drinker. This mix provides a smoothness not found in other bourbon whiskeys, with the French Oak adding a slightly different flavor. The result is a bourbon whiskey that is pleasing to the most avid bourbon drinker as well as people unaccustomed to a bourbon whiskey.
My partner is originally from Sicily, so we tend to take advantage of an Italian influence in our products. Our Grappa, Francesca, is hand produced by us using an old world style from Triste, Italy that has all but disappeared in the last 400 years. The product is then rested on French Oak until it produces a light golden color. This process produces a profound grape flavor and smoothness that’s not found in other grappa products. For people unaccustomed to Grappa, we include a hang tag with several recipes developed by a Master Bartender.
