Broman Cellars
Broman Cellars is a small, family operation located in the heart of the Napa Valley. Renowned winemaker Bob Broman creates our small lots of handcrafted wines exclusively from Napa Valley grapes. We have long term contracts with several highly acclaimed vineyards. Our Cabernet comes from Beckstoffer's Dr. Crane Vineyard in St. Helena and Georges III in Rutherford; and our Sauvignon Blanc from the Melrose Vineyard in Rutherford. Our Syrah is harvested from the Page Nord vineyard in North Napa. We have also just planted a small, two-acre vineyard in St. Helena on our Deer Park Road property, which is below the Howell Mountain appellation boundary on the western facing slope. Take a few minutes to read the next few pages. They will give you a better idea of what Broman Cellars is all about.

Broman Cabernet Sauvignon
1999 was a fabulous growing year, resulting in full, well balanced wines. The Broman Cabernet Sauvignon is certainly no exception. The aroma of this wine is full of ripe, dark berry with a hint of toasty oak and mocha. There are mouth filling ripe blackberries, cassis, black cherry and wild berry flavors accented by a hint of leather and cedar. The tannins are well integrated, and the long, lingering finish leaves you wanting more.

Broman Cabernet Sauvignon
This wine is full of ripe boysenberry and blackberry aromas and flavors. The fruit is complemented by undertones of leather and mocha. The fullness in the mouth is rounded out with a long, lush finish. This wine is approachable and drinkable now, and should cellar well for another 3-5 years.
Broman Chardonnay
You will notice delicious Fuji apple tastes, flavors of vanilla and elegance. There is a hint of toast with white chocolate in the mid palate, mild citrus with a kiwi top note. This wine is nice to enjoy alone, but is wonderful with food.
Broman Merlot
Our premier release of Merlot is a well-integrated blend that has wonderful complexity and layers of flavors. You will notice cherries and plums with a slight hint of freshly cracked black pepper on the nose. The middle is plump and full of ripe fruit, slightly earthy tones with traces of leather. This wine has a nice long, velvety finish.
Broman Sauvignon Blanc
Bright ripe melon and lime zest flavors are framed by delicate hints of gooseberry, tropical fruit and herbal aromas. Tangy citrus leads the way into a clean, crisp finish.
Broman Syrah
Blueberry, toasty and spicy aromas and flavors combine with leathery, meaty undertones give this wine great complexity and versatility. Ripe, full-bodied and a never-ending finish are prime characteristics of the Broman Syrah. This wine is aged in a combination of new and used French oak for 18 months before bottling, imparting smooth toasty oak qualities. This wine is perfect for game or the grill!
