This, our flagship Cab, is a full bodied, soft, complex wine with distinctive aromas of berry, cranberry and pepper aligned with a toasty oak and vanilla bouquet. Very approachable now with full and pleasing mouth feel, framed by soft tannins that will allow for aging.

This wine comes from Sonoma County’s pristine Alexander Valley, where Cabernet is a bit leaner, with tighter structure than those from neighboring Napa Valley. It is, nonetheless, a rich, full-bodies wine that pairs perfectly with rich foods. Look for complex black cherry, anise, herb, and chocolate.

Our Napa Valley reserve Cabernet carries high pedigree at an unusually low price. Lush and smooth-textured, the wine sports a fine-tuned blend of blackberry, cassis, plum, licorice, herb and chocolate flavors, all seamlessly integrated with finesse.

A blend of two classic varietals, this wine shows plenty of power and finesse, replete with black cherry, cassis, herb and licorice notes, all finishing in lush harmony. The Reserve Cab/Syrah is a blend of two reserve vineyards; 52% Napa Cabernet Sauvignon and 48% Edna Valley Syrah. The cool-climate Syrah’s bright fruit and white pepper blends seamlessly with the Napa Cabernet Sauvignon’s ripe berry notes. The wine's soft mouth-feel and smokiness is enhanced by subtle oak.

This fun blend of three different grapes that shows the sum may be greater than the parts. Ripe red fruit, lush tannins and a long finish mark this unusual wine. The Cabernet contributes focused tannins and structured acidity, while the concentrated, old-vine Zinfandel adds classic jammy fruit and ripeness. A small amount of Syrah adds smoky notes on the nose and some spice in the finish.

The Alexander Valley Merlot is a full-bodied, silky-smooth wine with approachable tannins and notes of berry and jam in the mouth, finishing with a hint of oak.

With the 2003 harvest occurring late in October, the 2003 Edna Valley Syrah benefited greatly from the extended hang time. This is our top-of-the-line Syrah, packed with bold cherry and berry flavors, complex herb notes and just the right amount of pretty French oak.
