Keltoi Vineyard

Keltoi Vineyard Erv and LeeAnn Langan invite you to spend a casual and pleasant day at Keltoi Vineyard. The Vineyard is located just a few minutes North of Joplin. While at Keltoi you can enjoy the beautiful 40 acre setting which includes a pond, stream and peaceful areas for relaxations, wildlife watching and wine tasting. Keltoi is taken from the Gaelic word for Celtic. We are located near the historic town of Medoc, which was destroyed on August 23, 1861 during the Civil War. The vineyard is 2 miles West of 43 Hwy. on “M” Highway, then 7/10 of a mile North on County Road 260. We have just built what we call “The Cottage” which will serve as our tasting room and retail outlet for our wines and other products. The first grapes were planted at Keltoi in 1999. Currently there are four acres of both red and white French hybrids with nearly two acres of Norton grapes that add to the scenic vista.

Directions from Kansas City: Go south on Hwy 71, past Jasper, Missouri to "M" Hwy. Turn right on "M" Hwy, about ten miles to 43 Hwy. Cross 43 Hwy and go 2 miles to County Road 260 then make a right and go North for 7/10 mile and the Vineyard will be on your left. Directions from Joplin: Take 171 Hwy. At Mo-Kan Dragway, go East on 'M' hwy. for 5 miles. At County Road 260, go North 7/10 mile and the vineyard will be on your left.
