Basignani Winery

Basignani Winery Basignani Winery has been producing a variety of wines using traditional cellar methods and old world viticulture for 16 years. Emphasizing quality over quantity, our wines are unfiltered, reaching their full potential while preserving their character. Located in the rolling hills of 'horse country' just north of Hunt Valley, visitors are invited to taste our wines, tour the winery and vineyards, and purchase wines to take home, or enjoy with a picnic on our grounds. Hours: Wednesday-Saturday 11:30am-5:30pm, Sunday Noon-6pm.

Sweet with vibrant fruit flavors and aromas.
  Cabernet Sauvignon
The Cabernet exhibits fresh herbs, blackberries, spices, and cherries. Full-bodied and juicy with black fruits. Good length & subtle oak.
Full-bodied with spicy pear aromas. Aged & fermented in French oak barrels; it is well-balanced, with honeyed apple flavors. Estate grown and bottled.
Dry, white Seyval blend that is well-balanced in oak. Estate grown and bottled.
  Erik's Big Zin Lot 1
Dry, tremenously fruity, 100% Zinfandel. Very well balanced with a little spice and a solid finish.
  Lorenzino Reserve
Marisa is a vineyard blend of Foch, Chambourcin, Chancellor, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Zinfandel. It is very fruit forward, with black raspberry aromas.
The Piccolo is a delicious blend of Maryland Cabernet and California Syrah.
Crisp, with honeyed notes of fresh peach and apricots.
100% Seyval, grown on the renowned Montbray Winery Vineyard in carroll County. This wine is dry, crisp, and refreshing. Great with Maryland seafood.
German style wine with ripe fruit flavors, and a wonderful floral bouquet. Great with dessert.
