Lawton Winery

Lawton Winery Lawton Winery, founded in 1998, is built on the concept of complete integration of our vineyard care and the wines produced in the winery. Our vines were planted in 1987 (Riesling) and 1990 (Pinot Noir). The winery was built in 1999, and our first crush here was in October 2000. Lawton Winery is located six miles out of Newberg, on the beautiful Chehalem Mountains. The winery is located on the vineyard, and all our wines are produced from our own carefully tended vines. Small and friendly, we are a boutique winery producing fewer than 1000 cases a year. We are open to the public for tasting over the Memorial Day and Thanksgiving week-ends. At any other time, most week-ends, just give us a call, if we're home (and we usually are) - for an intimate, complimentary tasting experience. We will also open by appointment during the week by request.

Exit downtown Newberg on Highway 240 (To Chehalem Valley). Leave town over the bridge. Go 1 mile from the bridge and turn right onto Tangen Road. Go about 1 mile on Tangen (to the end) and turn left on to North Valley Road. Go 1.5 miles on North Valley Road. Turn right on to Kings Grade. Go 2.8 miles up Kings Grade, turn right into the driveway at the Lawton Winery sign.
