Athena Vineyards was established in 2002 by three friends active in the Health Care industry. We enjoy healthy lifestyles, working in the vineyard and the finer things in life. Our interest in winemaking led to the construction of our winery in 2005 and our tasting room doors opened on Saturday, May 27, 2006. Athena has become the first commercial vineyard and winery in Northumberland County, Virginia.
