Immigrant grandparents from both sides of the family were involved with making wine while yet in Europe. When they arrived in this country from Italy and Serbia at the turn of the 20th century, our families brought those winemaking skills and love of winemaking with them. Most worked in steel mills or on the railroad. Some had farms and others grew grapes and vegetables on small plots.

Drive 0.2 miles
Keep right @ the fork to 60W, Rosslyn Farms Road
Drive 0.1 miles Rosslyn farms Road becomes Rosslyn Road.
Drive 0.3 miles. Then turn left onto Kings Highway.
Drive 0.3 miles. Turn left onto Baldwin Road.
Drive 0.5 miles. Turn left onto Campbells Run Road.
Drive 0.2 miles to Winery on the Left.

Blaufrankish
Medium bodied with a rich, red color and aroma of ripe cherries and dark berries. Frequently called the Pinot Noir of Eastern Europe.

Merlot
Soft, dark, low tannin, medium bodied wine with aromas and flavors that tend toward plum and chocolate.

Riesling
Semi-dry white wine that captures the inherent fruit and flowery aromas of the Riesling grape.
|
Steuben
Hybrid labrusca grape variety (Wayne and Sheridan) that results in wine with a beautiful spicy aroma and floral overtones.

Traminette
Subtle floral aromas along with flavors of melon and spice with many characteristics of Gewürztraminer, one of its parents.
