2004 Syrah, Castle Rock Vineyard, Napa Valley
The 2003 Miller Wine Works Syrah, Castle Rock Vineyard, Napa Valley exhibits a fleshy, medium-body that is loaded with ripe red plum and generously spiced red berries. The sweet oak spice notes are seamlessly integrated, and it has a fine tannin structure that will have this wine age well; although, it is quite pleasant for immediate enjoyment today.

2004 Miller Wine Works Syrah, Castle Rock Vineyard
The 2004 Miller Wine Works Syrah, Castle Rock Vineyard, Napa Valley, is opulent, plush and textured. This most Californian effort of the three Syrahs in the vineyard-designate lineup, resonates with ripe blueberries and plums, yet delivers sufficient tannin and a touch of oak in graceful balance, all cloaked in a satiny, full-velvet mouthfeel. It should improve for many years to come, but only if you can stay away long enough.

2004 Syrah, Brookside Vineyard, Napa Valley
The 2003 Miller Wine Works Syrah, Brookside Vineyard, Napa Valley is fleshy and creamy, with boysenberry, black raspberry, dark plum, and mineral notes. It is on the fuller side of medium-bodied now, but structured to take on weight, and will age extremely well.
