My dream is to create wines that are the greatest expression of California Pinot Noir and Syrah. I believe the close proximity of California’s Central Coast to the Pacific Ocean provides the ideal micro-climates necessary to pursue this vision. I believe the creation of great wines comes from the unique interaction between the place, the vintage and the human factor. Since I cannot control the vintage, I put special emphasis on working with magical places tended by inspired viticulturists. I see them as an integral part of my success in winemaking.
