Tantalize your senses and explore our award-winning wines in our Tasting Room and Gourmet Delicatessen, rustic and elegant with its monumental 42-foot stone fireplace and historic oak bar. Wind your way through The Heritage Museum and Jewelry Shoppe , where fine jewelry and objects d’art are intertwined with a collection of gold rush treasures, including a rare, one of a kind, forty-four pound Crystalline Gold Leaf Specimen - the largest in the world! A state-of-the-art wine production facility, built in the style of a 19th century gold stamp mill, the facility and grounds alike are peppered throughout with antiques and artifacts from days gone by, including the artfully restored Alhambra Theatre Pipe Organ. Ironstone Vineyards also houses a Culinary Exhibition Center , an Outdoor Amphitheatre , Wine Aging Caverns , Meeting and Banquet Facilities , and fourteen acres of Spectacular Lakeside Gardens. Ironstone Vineyards is so much more than a winery. Family-owned and family-oriented, there’s always something interesting happening at Ironstone, from complimentary tours and wine tasting, to cooking demonstrations, silent movies, holiday brunches, concerts, and gold panning for kids of all ages.

Bay Area to Ironstone Vineyards (approximately 3 to 4 hours): ~ Take Interstate 580 to I-205. ~ Go East to I-5. ~ Go North on I-5 (towards Stockton). ~ Go East on Hwy 4 (Cross-town Freeway) to Hwy 99. ~ Go South on Hwy 99. ~ Hwy 4 continues East a short distance down Hwy 99. ~ Go East on Hwy 4 to the stop light in Angels Camp. ~ Turn right onto Hwy 49. ~ Go South on Hwy 49 to the signal light at Murphys Grade Road and turn left. ~ Go East on Murphys Grade Road. to the Murphys Historic Hotel and turn right onto Algiers Street. ~ Go to the stop sign at Six Mile Road and turn right. ~ Go approximately 1 mile to Ironstone Vineyards on your right. Yosemite to Ironstone Vineyards (approximately 2 ½ hours): ~ Go West on Hwy 20 to Hwy 49. ~ Turn right on Hwy 49 and go to Sonora. ~ Go North on Hwy 49 to the Columbia turnoff. ~ The turnoff is Parrots Ferry Road: go through Columbia to Hwy 4 in Vallecito. ~ Turn right at the stop sign onto Hwy 4. ~ Go East on Hwy 4 into Murphys. ~ Just past the Chevron is a 4-way stop sign: turn left onto Big Trees Road. ~ The next 4-way stop sign is Main Street: go straight. ~ The next stop sign is Scott Street: go straight. ~ Continue straight ahead: the road becomes Six Mile Road. ~ Ironstone Vineyards is approximately 1 mile on the right.

  Cabernet Sauvignon
The 2004 Ironstone Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon is a complex medium-bodied wine with exceptional structure and balance. This vintage is packed with black currant and spicy cherry with hints of herbs and vanilla.
The 2005 Ironstone Vineyards Chardonnay has a crisp, mineral style with a lively tropical nose containing strong scents of lime and crisp green apples. Refreshing flavors of pineapple and mountain-ripe apples fill the palate with a crisp, clean finish.
The 2003 Ironstone Vineyards Merlot is a soft, medium-bodied wine with low acidity and tannins. This vintage has delightful aromas of vanilla, ripe plums and a hint of licorice spice followed by rich fruit flavors of juicy cherries and blackberries.
  Petite Sirah
Ironstone's 2002 Petite Sirah has a rich, dark purple color with aromas of fresh berries and ripe plums.
  Reserve "Old Vine" Zinfandel
The 2005 Ironstone Vineyards Reserve “Old Vine” Zinfandel is drenched in aromas of dark cherries and blackberry jam layered with a hint of ecualyptus and toasty oak.
  Reserve Cabernet Franc
The 2004 Reserve Cabernet Franc is a full-bodied wine with aromas reminiscent of dark currant and lavender. Robust flavors of juicy blackberries and black currants integrated with concentrated notes of cedar and spice end with a long and lingering finish.
  Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
The 2003 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is full-bodied and initially reveals rich aromas of fresh blackberries, cassis, and cola.
  Reserve Chardonnay
The 2005 Ironstone Vineyards Reserve Chardonnay is a complex wine with a style that is of classic White Burgundy.
  Reserve Meritage
The 2003 Ironstone Vineyards Reserve Meritage is an exceptionally elegant full-bodied wine that displays aromas of berries and jam, layered with mint, fresh herbs, cola and cassis.
  Sauvignon Blanc
Packed with aromas and flavors of citrus and a hint of tropical fruit, this well balanced crisp Sauvignon Blanc is a great wine for any occasion.

  Symphony Obsession
The 2004 Obsession is extremely drinkable. This lusciously brilliant and fanciful wine is full of fruit flavors, and finishes crisp and clean.
The 2003 Viognier is rich with mango and melons and finishes with a delightfully full and lingering aftertaste.
Ironstone’s Xpression has youthful aromas that are reminiscent of fresh strawberries and raspberries. Extremely drinkable, this delightful red wine is best when served slightly chilled and is full of fruit flavors and finishes crisp and clean.
